Kitchens

In an older home, unwanted ventilation is often an issue, with cold air leaking in around windows and under kitchen cabinets. To help address this problem, when renovating kitchens, we go right back to the foundation. We start fresh with proper insulation, plumb and level framing, new wiring and plumbing, appropriate rangehood venting and either in-floor heating, or a kickplate heater. We can do this whether you have a hot water system or forced air.

Keeping you comfortable in the kitchen also includes lighting. No one likes to be blasted by bright lights late at night or first thing in the morning; however, when cleaning the kitchen, or cooking, we often need to have bright lights. Having lighting options is also important to create different moods. Task lighting, pendants, under cabinet lighting, and kickplate lighting are just a few possibilities beyond common potlights.
